I've been a client of Westmore oil for over 25 years. I was never on a contract or had them service my furnace. I've only purchased oil, hence I'm not their perfect/preferred client. I would measure my oil and order when needed. I recently had a newborn and with the pandemic, in place, it skipped my mind to check my level and then I ran out of oil. Hoffman Fuel has terrible customer service. Their original sales representative lured me into Hoffman by telling me I didn’t have to be an automatic delivery customer. I called to ask why I didn’t have a contract emailed to me since it had been 30 days since I had spoken to her, and she said that it was weird I didn’t get an email. I have been on and off with Hoffman for more than 6 years for fuel oil delivery. This year they've been a nightmare. Even though I had signed up for automatic delivery I had to call for delivery two times. I am sitting home now waiting for delivery, my thermostat set to 60, cold and shivering. My oil gauge is at E and there is a snow storm coming this evening. I truly am mad at Hoffman.

I just called this place to find out prices b/c my husband I just moved to the area. The nasty lady who answered the phone REFUSED to give me any information unless I gave her my name, phone number, and address. We are calling around 5-10 companies so if I gave everyone my info I'd be bombarded with phone calls and mail and with the new home we have enough on our plate as it is. I can assure you I won't be calling these terriible people back any time soon. Way to lose a customer opportunity!!!
