I started taking my vehicles to Hoffmann Auto after they were recommended to me, and I'm very thankful for it. The work is always done well and fair priced, they take the time to answer my many questions very friendly and honestly, and they've never tried to up-sell me on work and parts I don't really need. Do not go here!!! Kept our van 3 weeks to do a 3 day job. Didn't rehook up my power steering pump correctly. Found leaks oil leaks in the engine they installed. Terrible service in every way.

If your looking for an honest mechanic who won't try to sell you a bunch of parts you do not need then Hoffmann Auto is the only shop in the Gainesville area worth stopping at. Always fair Always honest and this family business knows cars inside and out. Thanks for the help with my truck still running great at half the cost of the dealer...Update its been years since my first visit and I would still choose hoffmann auto over any shop around hands down no question or doubt in my mind. I wanted to take a moment and share my experience and also say thank you. Today, my tire flew off of my car and my car broke down right in front of their business. Within a few moments, someone came out and offered to help me to get a jack and help me out, someone is already coming with a tow truck so I was Ok, But I was very thankful that he came out and offered to help me.
