The BEST! My greyhounds and I have been going to Dr. Bazar for 8 years and have always received wonderful care. I tried once to go to another vet and realized Dr. Bazar is a gem and truly cares for the animals....will never try another vet as long as Dr. Bazar is in practice.
This is not about Dr. Bazar I am so unhappy with the treatment my dog recieved on a Sunday visit (not Dr. Bazar) I was told there is nothing I can do for my 13 yr old dog and she told me to end her suffering and put her down RIGHT NOW. I was mortafied that the only option she gave me besides death was an expensive list of things she needs to be tested for NOW. Great Vet & Caring Office! I brought my elderly dog to Hoffman Animal Hospital last night. My pet was a family friend but her health had been deteriorating for some time, and for many different issues. Our regular vet tried test after test. After trying different medications we realized it was no use, she was getting worse, but the vet made us feel guilty about considering euthenasia. Top notch experience We've had several visits in the past year to Hoffman and have found the receptionist to be very pleasant, the staff attentive and caring and Dr. Bazar to be caring and competent. Perhaps the front desk staff has changed since some of the other reviewers visited. We wouldn't dream of taking our greyhound anywhere else.
Reasonable priced vets Hoffman offers a wide variety of services for a reasonable price. They are located in Providence on Broad street. They also take the FOA certificates for reduced cost spay and neuter.
CARE AND UNDERSTANDING What i found most interesting about the Doctors at Hoffman`s is the importance of the pet is first. The care is tops and this is imperative for me and my Max
Totally Inadequate I've been taking my Rottweilier there since I brought her home from the breeder. Routine vaccinations and spaying all went well. However, my rottie is only 6 months old, not even full grown yet (she was 60 lbs during our last visit) and this vet's table was not big enough to be comfortable for my pup. Wouldn't go anywhere else. We have been bringing our dogs to Dr. Bazar since 2003 when we adopted our first greyhound. There have been many visits, some routine, some not. We always find compassionate, competent care for our dogs, and their humans. As far as the comments about reception, I wouldn't have the vaguest idea to whom those reviews are referring. Everyone there is terrific.
More to Come..... I was sorry to hear the disappointment from the others about the receptionist...I have talked three different times so far in reference to my upcoming appt, and I have to say that I was very satisfied with the service. I am currently scheduled for a spaying procedure this upcoming weekend and I will be sure to post my experience, and at the same time compare it to the facility I used for my puppies vaccinations.
