My son and I just recently went on this tour and loved it! One reason I loved it was that it was a small group and that was nice!
This past October, my husband and I celebrated our first anniversary with a trip to Salem. We really wanted to go on a guided tour, but had a hard time finding one that fit our interests and needs. We really wanted a tour that was light on the cheese (such as no costumed guides or bad, fake British accents). I'm so glad we chose Hocus Pocus tours! Susan and Rich were excellent and we had a great time! It was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary and we can't wait for our next trip.
Did this tour last night with my husband and kids. I highly recommend this tour! Susan and Rick were so full of life throughout the entire tour Susan kept you hanging on to every word she spoke and made you want to hear more! Thanks Susan and Rick!!
Great tour, history made interesting. Great for families.
We all truly enjoyed this tour! I wish I had taken a pad and paper so I could outline the things that Susan and Rich talked about because I would have liked to read more on some of the people/places. I also wish I had taken the tour earlier in my visit to Salem (we left the next morning) because I would have liked to return to some of the sites in the day time. Especially, the memorial.
I was part of a group of 12 that took the tour on 5/31/15. I came with some background on Salem's dark history but was truly impressed with how thoughtfully laid out the presentation was and at how it brought this history to life. We walked the streets seeing the places where this happened and where that would have taken place and at each stop things were explained to humanize this tragedy rather than simply to list geographic locations and that makes all the difference.
