I am extremely dissatisfied with the web-site of this organization. In my patient portal, there is a notification of unpaid bill (from april of 1920. I do not have any unpaid bill. When I called the billing department - I was told to ignore it. It is a computer error and they cannot do anything about it. Dr Cozzolino, my husband's urologist told my husband that the treatment for his prostate cancer would be 4 1/2 weeks of radiation and 1 year of hormone shots. (every 4 months). Dr. Shukla, his radiation oncologist, also said if the bone scan came out negative, that would be his treatment plan. The scan did come out negative. The next visit Dr Raben, the head of the clinal trial attended . They recommend the clinal trial for him. Front desk staff are extremely rude and when you give them the same treatment in return they threaten to not care for the loved on you’ve just brought in. Extremely pathetic. I’ve been coming here for years and have noticed a huge decline in the employees attitudes. Why?
The reviews on here are 5-10 yrs old, so I will give an update. This is an intern program. So your dentist leaves after a year. Some are very good, others not great. It is an excrutiatingly slow process to have crowns, implants, etc. done here. So many appts!! And so much time between appts! It took forEVER to get a dental plan. And they can be impossible to reach by phone. Very frustrating. Call early to reach someone - good luck.
My husband laid in the hallway for 11 hours was brought in by ambulance for abdominal pain was given a CT scan and malox. The staff are rude,hospital is dirty. If you aren't of color you'll be ignored. Christiana hospital never fails to disappoint. They were assholes when my daughter gave birth. Stay away from this place
I have been on this planet for 44 years, the last 3 being just about the worst in history for customer service. I can honestly say, without hesitation, that the customer care at Christiana Care is the worst I have ever received, anywhere. I cannot say enough bad things about this entire organization, and their systematic destruction of every non-CCHS option is the worst thing they have done. Intimidated and put at risk by a doctor. Patients rights not explained. I have had mostly poor experiences with ChristianaCare, but this was by far the worst I have ever had. Their systematic dismantling of Northern Delaware healthcare is almost complete, requiring you to use their services no matter how much they have let you down in the past. Their monopoly should be broken up, fast.
This used to be the go-to place, it is no longer. Calling their phone number no longer gets you to the office. They use some kind of off-site service with personnel that are very difficult to understand. Their questions and statements are rarely understood on the first try. Who in the world is in charge of this place? My beloved Primary Care Physician retired at the end of 2021. My November 2022 annual health examination was shifted to an Nurse Practitioner, that quit before my appointment date and I was then assigned a MD.
