I would not recommend Chris Hobson based on my experience. I paid Hobson & Hobson approximately $10,569 in legal fees and also spent approximately $5,000 on private investigators after Chris recommended investigators and advised me that several weeks of surveillance were needed to establish the evidence he believed we needed. I was later advised of significant legal obstacles to the strategy that I wish had been identified before I incurred those additional expenses. I also dispute a substantial credit-card charge. BEWARE. Chris Hobson is an unscrupulous and dishonest man. He will tell you what you want to hear and make you believe that you have a case and then abandon you at the last moment. He took $15,000 from me and charged my card without approval after asking for permission and then threatened to sue me if I brought an ethics complaint or challenged the fraudulent charges he made against me. BEWARE.
I'm keeping this review updated because the billing practices I experienced were, in my opinion, unreasonable, and I want prospective clients to know what's possible before they sign an agreement with this firm. Hiring Hobson & Hobson was one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made. I paid this firm over $10,000 to transfer and handle my case in Georgia, and once they had my money, it felt like I became an afterthought.
