The staff is exceptionally friendly and clearly care for the animals. Unfortunately, similar to most places, they do not try and help patients financially. I was charged $42 for an OTC product I could've gotten elsewhere for $18. Overall happy with the service but I would recommend pressure testing their pricing.
I am so happy I found this practice! Do not believe the negative reviews. The staff go out of their way to help you and the new doctors are simply wonderful. They are fair and transparent with costs.
So far our experience at Hoboken Vets has been great. My dog gets seriously anxious in vets' offices since she had surgery a few years ago, but she was treated with that in mind, which I appreciated. They also allowed me to be in the room with her the entire time during her annual exam, which makes a huge difference (she's a nervous girl, especially when I'm not around).
