Service at this place is amazing. I felt well taken care of. Prices are good too.
This store really knows the changing population in Hoboken. I work 50-60 hour weeks and that usually includes sat. I have been trying to sch a time to get my eyes exam instead of wearing my Two week contacts for 1 year lol. Finally an optical store in Hoboken that opens on Sunday with an Optometrist on premise. Went there on Sunday (free street parking), got new contacts and was able to pick out new Prada glasses. Great service. Love, super love their hours. I went there for a Medical Eye Exam, and Dr. Lui was great. He put me at ease, told me that I'm not going to go blind. He gave me some sample antibiotics to get me by over the weekend. I went back to for a follow-up and he didn't charge me. The medical red eye wasn't cheap though...$150. Some places in Hoboken are a bit cheaper $140, 130, but you get what you paid for. I was refer to them from my ophthalmologist for an eye exam because I've been having extreme headaches when I was reading. Went to them because they take VSP. Great experience. The eye doctor there was very professional, he answered all my questions and gave me a great prescription. I ended up getting two pairs b/c with my insurance I had to wait around 2weeks or so to get my benefits, so I ended up getting a second pair out of pocket, and that job was done by Hoboken Optical in 3 days. Very happy with my glasses from them. I got exam somewhere else and brought my prescription there to get it filled. It just didn't feel right. Went back to my original doctor and he said I was being too picky. I was just fed up. I end up just getting reexamined at Hoboken Optical. The optometrist found a HUGE difference. I was not crazy. I love my new glasses. I went there because my I've been overwearing my contact and needed to wear glasses. They ppl there were so helpful. No rush. Pretty fast service. All in all, no problems. Nice selection.
