Hobgood Mechanical has been my go-to for HVAC for the last 13 years. Customer service is unmatched - my A/C went out due to a power hit recently, and they were on-site less than two hours after the initial call. The company is owned by Adam Hobgood and his wife Jamey, and they consistently go above and beyond to take care of their customers. They installed my last heat pump and when/if it gets replaced they will be the only people I call.
They were able to come out quickly to deal with our upstairs AC, which is 10 years old. They determined that two (expensive) parts needed replacing, but went the extra mile and determined that the parts were still under warranty. We ended up paying only for labor and the coolant they had to add. Super friendly all along, felt like they understood how important their work was to our home. I highly recommend them.
Hobgood Mechanical has been great to work with and we appreciate their services so much. Good to have HVAC folks who show up, are quick and reasonable.
Good AND honest technicians! 😀 I needed to have my whole downstairs HVAC system replaced last year. I shopped around, and Hobgood Mechanical gave me the best price and the best warranty. They were able to come right away and replace everything quickly. This year, the fan suddenly started making a lot of noise on the AC for the upstairs HVAC system. I thought I was going to have to replace that HVAC system as well, but the fan just needed to be adjusted.
We woke up to 49° in our house. First we called our home warranty company and also did an online service request about 730 am. Christmas eve morning. No response AT ALL. We called Hobgood that afternoon and talked to a real person. She said they were completely booked and were scheduling for Monday. By noon Monday they were here and the problem was fixed. Great people, great service. Just call them first and your life will be better!
