Lame reviews Both reviews are lame, as are the people that wrote them. Yes, the name of the store is Hobby Oasis, which would lend itself to be a HOBBY store. When you walk in, all you see are models, wodden and plastic. You see trains, you see radio control vehicles. Things that are supposed to be in a HOBBY store. Now, have you been to Hobby Lobby? pontirog(R Foster) I go back to hobby O since the day it opened,Bill and Sue V. Martha and her husband where the neatest most knowlegeable people I have ever had dealings with. It was here that The Jax bch R.C. club was formed. I have been away from the area for some time I intend to get back into R.C. flying again. And hobby O is my hobby shop.
Hobby Oasis Hey, This is really in response to the two earlier reviews. Hobby Oasis as those who know have been around since I can remember. I used to go in there and buy those little rubber band airplanes when they were in the K-mart plaza. Hobby Oasis has carried rc equipment and trains since I can remember. I used to go there and play Gauntlet and Ms. Pacman when they had the gaming room. You can't go into Hobby Oasis once and then say ur never going in there again! i agree. I have to agree that hobby oasis isnt going carry stuff w/ little or no demand, it is perfectly normal for them to be upset when you ask for things not related to any hobbies they support, the guys that work there aren't text book helpers but will gladly help you find anything you need as long as YOU know what it is. ex; " Hi i would like to find the pull cord thing for my rc truck." the response you would get is what year make and model is the truck, or if you were really into getting parts you would bring part num... read more

Expanded and HUGE!!!!! The Tomball Hobby Lobby recently expanded to fill vacant space left when Tractor Supply moved. You would hardly recognize the new store - so much has been added!!

It is nice to have a store in Tomball with such a vast array of craft and decorator items. No more trudging into Hosuton for me! Completely agreed! i went here expecting to find some goggles, which i believe they should carry since this is a hobby shop. However, i was told that they do not have any and to just go to the nearest home depot. I didnt really look around that much, but from what i was told, i really wasnt interesting in purchasing anything at all. I felt extremely unwelcomed there, and that is what it will be. I wouldnt step foot in this place again.
Huge Craft Store with something for everyone! Hobby Lobby is one of the best Craft stores in this area. They offer low prices and something for everyone, young and old. The sale ads are truly sales. You can get everything you need in one stop and the people are friendly. Great selections of Models, paint supplies and childrens crafts.
