Hobbs Property Management has managed my rental properties for almost seven years. I do not reside in Hobbs so I have to rely on this company to keep my tenants satisfied as well as look out for my financial investments. During these seven years I have worked with Emma Cates as my contact. She is a true asset to this company. When I am contacting her by phone or email, she consistently answers my phone calls or emails me promptly. Worked fine for years, but in the last year they've been taking out more and more money from rent for "maintenence" almost every month and they never notify me beforehand. They claimed it was emergent and they didn't have to notify me for emergency maintenance. But first of all, yes they do, and second of all, emergency maintenance costing $300-500 almost EVERY month?
I rented an apartment ahead of time and now that I am ready to move-in, they don't have the apartment ready or habitable and asked me to stay in a hotel? They don't answer the phone calls only text and take hours to reply. I went to their office located at 700 E Navajo, Hobbs, NM 88240 and no company is there they moved out years ago. The home owner said that and mentioned that multiple customers go there to complain.

They lie they play the blame game. I have been dealing with sewage stench since I moved here in July. 60 days of sewer smell. If you move into any of their properties good luck. I would give lower but one is all they have
