Would rather have sat hours in the royal hobart emergency department. The triage nurse didn’t pass on information so the doctor/nurse trying to assist thought I was there for an injury when it was a medical episode. Initially no tests were going to be done and I was not being listened to, it made me feel so much worse. The staff all seemed like they didn’t want to be there and the reception was a bit snappy, they seemed to care more about my upfront payment than my health.
Insane, uptight nursing staff in ED. At triage I could hear one whinge about Trump -- highly inappropriate. They also scolded my excellent doctor for successfully putting my dislocated shoulder in place under what I understand was mild sedation. I am glad he didn't listen to the objecting nurses who wanted to send me to public for the same treatment!
Was in recently and whilst the emergency room nurses were honestly just rude, the nurses in the surgical ward especially Amber and Rianna were absolutely incredible, so so sweet and always checking in. Amazing job to these lovely girls
