I have been trying to schedule an install of my Hobart dishwasher for a few weeks now. Multiple emails and calls with no response back. Tonight, my Hobart slicer broke. I called for emergency after hours support and was told no one could help me for 2 days. I am deeply regretting spending thousands of dollars on this equipment. I plan to look for other options for my next restaurant.
Horrible company. First off they don't have a service person in my area so I had to pay a charge for someone to come from Denver. Pay over $1000 for them to fix my dishwasher and two say later it was broken again. This time they charge $600 +. Ended up having to replace to the machine. Called customer service and they blamed it on setment and wouldn't stop say that word. We have very clear water. 2month wait and no service was scheduled. I called Maintenance Chef, they came out that week for a service call.
After reading the other reviews this seems silly. Service tech came out to replace a motor on a stand mixer. Had to order the part and said he would be back the following week. Following week comes and goes, I give Hobart a call and they say they haven’t received the part yet. Another week goes by, I call again, this time stating that I would like to be made aware of when they are coming to the restaurant to fix the mixer.
