I have been seeing Hoa for about eight months. As the first therapist I've ever worked with, I feel extremely lucky to have found my ideal match so quickly. My Counseling Experience with Hoa Le I have worked with Hoa Le over the past few years, seeing him once or twice per month. I was drawn to him based on reading a statement he posted at the time in Psychology Today which read unlike that of any other counselor (and I read hundreds of these!). I've seen many different therapists over the years. With most not going longer then 3-5 months. But Hoa's process is different than any of the others. I stuck with it for almost 2 years and I'm honestly glad I did. The road is very hard, but if you are able to stick with it and understand he is trying to help you. Than the journey is worth it.

Despite having bad experiences with therapy in the past, Hoa completely switched my mindset on it and helped me see how beautiful and powerful therapy truly can be. Hoa is not the type of therapist who knows every detail from your week; he's the type to break down your trauma from the past—something much more powerful and effective, in my opinion. I found Hoa via another platform and had such a great experience that I followed him to his current practice! As a therapist Hoa is very thoughtful, direct and challenging without sacrificing kindness or comfort. I especially have benefitted from his religious cultural competency in working through my own experiences with identity and religious trauma
