We adopted Scooter from HOBO and we were so impressed and grateful for the support of this organization! Linda was an incredible support to us. She spent time talking with us and helping us decide on the perfect match. Scooter was transported from Arkansas and I’m so grateful of all the volunteers that came together to make his life better! We have adopted form a rescue before and felt the care, support and thoughtfulness from HOBO was top notch!
Over the past five years, my family has welcomed three incredible fur babies into our home through Ho-Bo Care Boxer Rescue and each adoption has been a heartwarming, seamless experience that's made us lifelong fans of this remarkable organization. From our first adoption to our most recent, Ho-Bo's process has been consistency thorough yet approachable. If you're ready for a loyal, high spirited friend, Ho-Bo is the way to go!
We have fostered through HOBO and ended up adopting our soul doggy through HOBO. This is the best rescue in Denver! There are so many dedicated volunteers who care deeply about the dogs that come through this rescue. We plan to continue to work with the HOBO community and hope to rescue more dogs in the future!
Adopted one dog and fostered another through HoBo and these folks are just wonderful! They put the dogs first and are just an incredible support system for humans and dogs alike. They are 100% volunteer run so all donations are put to good use. So much care is putting into making sure dogs go to great homes.
I had a home visit with a volunteer in anticipation to potentially adopt a senior dog. I wanted to be fully transparent with them and told them that my partner of 6 years was recently incarcerated for a non-violent offense (fraud.) The volunteer was pretty judgmental and overstepped many boundaries in my own home. She even asked me “you really didn’t know he was doing anything illegal?” this felt really condescending and judgmental, especially being asked these questions in my own home.
