Absolute life savers from one end to the other in this building! From the moment I stepped in there they cared and did everything possible and beyond to accommodate me and my situation! It's the 1st and ONLY place I've found that understands and does more than just say they do this n that, they actually do it! Not one time have I felt like I was dirt under their shoes like any of the hospitals or other treatment centers in this town have! They give you a path to a better life!
Counselors are there to help the patient not themselves. Fortunately not all are like this, unfortunately mine is. She is a sexist and racist this is not a good look. I transferred with take homes. After having them for 4-5 years at my last previous clinic. My counselor told me 3 different lies about why I couldn't have them now. Now that I've jumped through all her hoops, U.A.'s keep coming back with false positives and I don't always have the extra money to have them sent off to be retested. The clinic is clean. The staff could be more interested in helping folks succeed than worrying about the hands on the clock. A friend was locked out of the facility by 2 minutes. Not acceptable for a place with a mission to help a recovering addicts especially when those running the clinic are medical professionals with no experience in drug recovery. If you have never experienced it how can you be so sure you know what it is like?
Other than saving my life, and they are also saving my son, the people that they have helped is extraordinary. The other day, I met a man who was donating his lock box because he was finishing the program and was very excited. It was so awesome to see! The stories from this clinic are inspiring and help me and others keep from giving up. The staff is absolutely the best staff in the business.
