Tonight I was with a family member in the emergency room and would like to express my thanks to the staff who were not only professional, but were compassionate and kind. I believe the nurse who was there first was Alicia, whose shift was ending at 7p.m. and there was also Joann. Both of these women are a true blessing to any patient that needs emergency treatment.
My night nurse was absolutely amazing, but when it got time for a shirt change (7 a.m.) the new nurse was traumatizing. I am a single mother and she was constantly asking questions about my personal life to belittle me. She was also yelling at my mother who was helping me push. It’s been 3 years and I finally have enough courage to talk about this experience.
My father was brought into the ER with a heart issue. The staff were amazing! Everyone worked diligently to stabilize his condition and make him comfortable. His stay was extended a few days and stents were needed. The nursing staff in the step down unit were absolutely incredible. Many thanks to Erin, Nicole, Haley, Jen, Dion, Jess, Amy and Jolyn!
My Mom had surgery here over the summer. Everyone treated her with such respect, and kindness. Pre-op nurses and post-op nurses were all incredible.
