My whole family, including myself, have used this facility on multiple occasions and never have issues. We never have to wait, the providers listen to what you have to say, and the nurses are kid friendly. My only fear/complaint is I only found out about them after walking out of my PCP that’s across the parking lot. I just don’t think people know about them. We use HMG as our primary care and pediatrician and they are absolutely wonderful. This urgent care, not so much. Rude office staff and nurses. The Doctors and nurse practitioners have the some of the most horrible bedside manners I’ve ever dealt with. This place makes Ballad urgent care look good and that’s saying something…. Backstory: Drove 3 hours for Virginia Highlands Balloon Festival. Unloading at the hotel my daughter was skating around on the sidewalk. She had a horrible fall! I googled UC near me and found HMG UC! From checking in as an out of town patient, Xray, our wonder MA, to NP and back to check out the staff was AMAZING! She was scared and they took time to talk her through everything, gave her juice to help calm her, but still got us in and out in about 30 mins. She had a buckle fracture. Highly recommend!! I came in close to closing and I was treated with care! Nothing felt rushed, all my questions were answered. And I felt I could ask a question and was able to gain information about my pains. I will absolutely use them again!!
