I am getting the run around from the staff at this office. I am in severe pain with my foot and after seeing MsPhelps, my prescription was to have been sent in yesterday at 4:30. After 3 phone calls, and being given the runaround, it is now Friday at 11:30 and no prescription sent in. I spoke to the pharmacist and the prescription has not been sent. Being new to the area I wasn’t sure about a walk in orthopedic clinic, but my knee was killing me. Very nice receptionist, had x-rays immediately after initial exam, and was told the pain in my knee was due to arthritis. Heather PA suggested a cortisone shot to help with the inflammation; I hate shots! However I was in so much pain I agreed…never felt the shot. Came in with severe back. Called back quickly. PA, NPA whatever she was came in promptly. Total time in room- less than 5 minutes. She didn't even log in to the computer. She informed me if I was truly in that much pain I needed to go to ER. (I was in tears, couldn't stand up straight and could barely walk! )Cost me a copay to be told to go to ER, but I love the medical notes which stated she examined me and there was no rash on my back.
