I walked into this facility at 1 PM. At 1:40 PM I walked out after receiving an exam by the most caring and professional NP I’ve ever been assigned. They scheduled me to meet with the surgeon in two weeks. I can’t speak highly enough for the HMG Orthopedic Associates.
I am getting the run around from the staff at this office. I am in severe pain with my foot and after seeing MsPhelps, my prescription was to have been sent in yesterday at 4:30. After 3 phone calls, and being given the runaround, it is now Friday at 11:30 and no prescription sent in. I spoke to the pharmacist and the prescription has not been sent. Being new to the area I wasn’t sure about a walk in orthopedic clinic, but my knee was killing me. Very nice receptionist, had x-rays immediately after initial exam, and was told the pain in my knee was due to arthritis. Heather PA suggested a cortisone shot to help with the inflammation; I hate shots! However I was in so much pain I agreed…never felt the shot.
