Eight months ago, we took our car to this workshop for a roadworthy inspection. The car was in perfect condition, but they decided to replace only one of the four engine mounts. Since then, we’ve had more and more problems with the car: the vibration never stopped and other issues started to get worse. I dropped my car off on short notice after having another mob mess around with it for weeks, and they had it back to me for the quoted price in a couple of days. Even pointed out potential future problems and let me pick it up after ours. Good work, good people, would 100% recommend this mechanic.
The team at HM Mechanical put my project car motor together after I wheeled in a box of parts and a car shell. A month later I drove out in a running registered car. They have done COI on my work truck, they were fair and honest about what was needed to be done. They always call and let me know what's going and always get the job done within set time restraints. Paid thousands of dollars, waited an entire year, just to find out they were selling off parts of my car, hadn't actually done any work and then was told to take my car elsewhere before they charge me for the space it's taking up (hard to do when they've stripped it). Complete scam. If you want your car looked after, go to J tune instead. Edited to respond; The engine supplied was in fact not the wrong year model, which J tune can confirm. Like I said to Steve, I wish I read these reviews before booking here! We service my car at home regularly and know what is/isn't wrong with it. Steve gave a list of things for a failed RWC that were either wayyyy too over the top(cv split this week, new, not drastic) but needs replacing to pass aswell as shocks (righto bud), reckons a brake lights needs re-wiring and not a bulb 🤧 how do you prognoses this in 30 mins?
