I took my daughter to The Hive and booked with Charles for an updo for her grad. The look on her face said it all. He nailed it, which is no small feat for a teenage girl on her big night. The vibe at the salon is very relaxed and welcoming. Her updo lasted through all the pictures in the Park in the afternoon and throughout the dinner and Safe Grad. Very impressed.
This my second time going to The Hive. The first time I waited 20 minutes before the staff told me the hairdresser forgot my appointment. This time, the hairdresser tells me she will be “25 minutes” late doing my hair because of bad time management with another client as per the hairdresser. The owner Charles was in the room ignoring the issue even as i asked for the owner, I was clearly upset as this appointment was to get my hair done on the day of my son‘s social.
