5 Star plus experience. Tom Cropp was kind, caring and exceptionally helpful during this most difficult time. I would highly recommend him. Thank you,Tom for the respect you showed to my dearly departed daddy and for your compassion with my mother and me. You are the best.
I want to thank Tom who made EVERY request we made possible for my mothers arrangements. The embalmer, Natalie brought my whole family comfort with the amazing work she did on my mother. She looked beautiful and at peace. I asked for not heavy makeup because she didn't wear that much during her life, this and all other request's where handled. No one is perfect and there is always room for improvement, I am a tough customer and they did everything to make me and my family comfortable with the hardest day of our lives.
I'm sorry for the person that gave a bad review on this place, but our experience was completely different. We did have to wait for Tom to come in the room that we were taken into for about 10 minutes but in my opinion it was a very nice room, and the furniture seemed to match to me and the urns were beautiful. The time I felt that we had to wait I think gives you a moment to collect yourself, take a deep breath so when the director comes in you know more what you want for your loved one. I can't express how horrible our experience was at Hites. We chose this establishment off a list at the hospital when we were still in shock from my stepdad's sudden death. We made an appt. and when we showed up we were ushered into a dark room with urns and gaudy memorials and sat at a table with mismatched chairs. The person who we later found out was Tom (he NEVER introduced himself) kept us waiting for at least 10 minutes (the place was empty) before walking in.
