An enjoyable afternoon spent exploring some of the history of Charlotte. Nicely done preservation and restoration. Definitely recommend a visit if in the area.
Our tour guide, Ishmael, was fantastic! I've lived in Charlotte 40+ years and this was my first visit. The house and grounds are beautiful. (And look for the Groupon deal.)
It is a beautiful old plantation house and the tour guides we had were very knowledgeable. The gardens are also beautiful.
