The staff were great and the stuffed sopapillas were the best we’d had on our trip across New Mexico. Honest home style food.
Good food, excellent service. My husband had a burrito with green sauce and I had enchiladas with red. Both were to our liking of traditional Mexican food.
After a long & draining drive, we were glad to relax at the restaurant. Close to the LaQuinta Inn The waitress was very friendly. The Manager came & asked what we'd enjoy, because I was undecided. Asked what they specialized in & he said Mexican. So I took my first choice. Chicken Taco Salad with grilled jalapeño peppers. It was the best ever. Dave had their Chicken Club with Sweet Potato Fries. Yum. I'd recommend & go back.
First rate chicken fried steak and a Blue Swallow Motel signature cocktail. Yum.💙
We were traveling through from CO to TX and stumbled upon this place. WOW! Food was good and the wait staff and manager - Jerry - were AMAZING! And the Double Shot band is incredible! We will make this a yearly place to visit every September.

Sometimes great, some it's just good .... the Draft Beer in a frosted cold mug and its Super great �
