My stay was very poor. I was in room #4, and the headboard is on the wall adjoining the kitchen. At 5:15 a.m., a staff member started prepping for the day, banging around, shutting cupboards, and making so much noise it was impossible to sleep - and I'm not a light sleeper. The wall between the two is thin and not insulated for sound. I mentioned it at check-out, and the housekeeper/front desk person just said, “I don’t own the place.” That was the end of it. Not a great experience.
Beautifully-renovated historic hotel with very comfortable rooms, welcoming staff and a lovely garden out back.
Charming.
