From our initial tour, our final walk through, the rehearsal, and the wedding day, my experience with the Historic 1625 was wonderful. Not only is the venue absolutely beautiful & exactly what I was looking for, but the staff was great to work with. Lindsey was incredibly organized and sent detailed reminders leading up to our big day. It really helped keep us on track with the planning. We had our reception at 1625 a few weeks ago and it was beautiful. However, we had many problems with Lindsey. First, after touring the venue twice and said we wanted to do cocktail hour in the car room both visits she told us she had no idea we were wanting to do cocktail hour there until we reminded her 2 weeks before the reception in an email. During the 2nd tour of the venue with my parents and brother and husband my dad asked Lindsey if we were able to bring drinks to have while getting ready to which she responded yes.... read more
