Unless I’m with a large party, when eating sushi I like sitting at the sushi bar. At the sushi bar I can freely order small portions from the sushi chef in case there is something I see being served that I would like to try. At the table, I am forced to order all my sushi at one time. At the sushi bar, the sushi chefs could not be bothered, I had to order from my server, which defeated the purpose of eating at the bar. The food was good when it finally came out but the service was far from great. The table we were seated at was surrounded by trash, my mom ordered a drink and was given the wrong thing, and our waitress didn’t bring us our salads that came with out entrees until after our food came out. Very disappointed with the service at this location.
I am it w fan. I went here for the first time after church yesterday and the service was terrible. It took over 30 mins just to get the Dr Pepper I ordered and that was after I had to remind her. Then I ordered 3 rolls all on the same side all with a 1 and circled, only got 2 of them and had to wait for the third to be made. Blue tastes 100% better and the service is 100x better. Probably my first and last time at Hiro.

Although everyone can have a bad experience at some point any place you eat, at Hiro 88 we did not. 100% loved to food and wait staff. We will be back.

Worst service experience. Been going here for years, but over the past 2 years notable decline. Tonight are server was rude, continued to mess up our orders, did not bring any of our second round drinks out... tried to charge us for drinks we never got and food we never received. Server was unapologetic. Pretty sure the service lacked Bc we were going to be an auto gratuity. Completely done with this establishment.
First time visit, with my grandson, great service great Shusi! I would definitely go again!
