My experience with HireRight was a complete disaster. Their process was slow, confusing, and riddled with errors. They repeatedly asked for the same documents, lost information I had already provided, and offered almost no helpful customer support. With a little digging, it becomes clear that HireRight is laying off U.S. employees and outsourcing their work to India, as even a former employee stated on Indeed. This explains why every time I call, the connection is horrible and the representatives cannot effectively assist. But the poor connection is not the worst part. Very INCOMPETENT staff. A case that should have taken simply 3 days took over several weeks. The assigned background investigator was rude. He could not get in contact with one previous employment that has since went out of business and deemed the entire BC void, despite passing/clearing official state records. If your job is requiring you to submit through HireRight, please seek other ALTERNATIVE options for employment verification. Do NOT TRUST this company with your personal and sensitive information.

Y'all totally screwed me out of a job for a "expired license" from a old state I lived in when I moved states & got a new license in my new state which should have null & expired my old one anyway. I'm getting lawyers involved & suing you.
