The move out of my 2-bed room apartment took 6.25 hours (not including drive time) with 3 movers. I've moved 4 times in the past 5 years and my moves have never gone over 4 hours. The team was not very efficient. They didn't maximize trips up/down the elevator, didn't have enough equipment ( they had one dolly), and did not bring tools for breaking down my bed or tv mount. They did a great job and were very careful and courteous.
We had a 2 bedroom apartment to move from Encino to Lake balboa. Three professional movers came at 8 AM. Took them four hours. quick they had a smile on their face. Did not charge any extra this is our second move with hippo and we are very very happy with them. Thanks hipo. Thanks Gilli.
Excellent experience and service. Gili booked the move with me and was very clear with all the services and included/extra costs. Totally professional and helpful. Move day went off without a hitch. Chris, Kris and Diego showed up at the promised time and did a terrific job wrapping furniture and tv, loading the truck at old home and unloading at the new location. Extremely polite, professional and communicative. No surprises when time to settle the bill. Highly recommend these folks. Would definitely use them again!
Honestly, this was the best moving experience I’ve ever had. I’ve moved 4 times in the last 4 years, but Hippo was the most painless. Gili on the phone coordinated everything and even adjusted accordingly when my schedule unexpectedly changed. Three movers in one truck arrived promptly on moving day, loaded the truck in 2 hours, got to my destination around the same time, and unloaded in another 2 hours. The movers were courteous, efficient, and quick. Highly recommend!
