Lacking in a Number of Ways – Seems to be nice people but not the place to take your dog for anything longer than a few hours. I tried the place twice (just to give them a chance to make up for mistakes on their first visit). One time they forgot to give the dog medicine and the next time they gave me all the food back for a two day stay and they could quite remember what they fed the dogs. BEST Boarding & Doggie Day Care Around!!!!! – I have taken my dog to several doggie day care facilities and Hip Hounds is by far the BEST!!! It has the largest climate controlled facility for the dogs to run around and the staff is not only friendly but take EXCELLENT care of the dogs. And with the LIVE WEBCAMs, I can see my dog playing throughout the day, how cool is that!!!! THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE I TAKE MY DOG!!!!!

FANTASTIC Place! Great Staff, Really Nice Facility – This place is awesome! It is hard to find a facility with so much open indoor room for the dogs and in Texas, where it is super hot or pretty cold much of the year, that is very important! Most kennels leave your dog locked up except for a couple 5 minute potty breaks a day (I know, I worked at one), but Hip Hounds makes sure your dog gets lots of exercise and interaction. The staff are very friendly and have always been very on top of things. The facility looks and smells... read more

Do Not Take Your Dogs To Hip Hounds! My husband and I have been bringing our two labs here for two years now. We have had decent care for our dogs, but the customer service is ridiculous. My husband and I both work late hours and rely on services like this to take care of our dogs during our late hours. We also rely on the 7 to 7 schedule and work to the last possible minute. My Dog LOVES Hip Hounds! – I’ve been taking my dog to Hip Hounds since September of ‘07 and she LOVES IT THERE! The staff are always friendly, responsive and take excellent care of her whenever she’s there for daycare or boarding. They have super convenient hours, opening up at 7a and staying until 7p during the week, giving me the flexible to work all day and run an errand or two afterwards and not having to worry about rushing to get home. What a disappointment!!! The facilities aren't bad, but the customer service and attention to details are awful. To me trust is paramount when selecting a doggy daycare, and this place has lost my trust.
