The prices were reasonable. The food was good. Sadly, the server and service was poor!

As a family we have been going to this cafe for over 10-years whenever we travel from Portland, OR to The Redwoods. We stay at either the Hiouchi Motel or Curly Redwood Lodge in Crescent City. Even if we are in Crescent City we drive to this cafe for breakfast. We love the people and the food is like going home. Try the big blueberry pancake..I dare you!
Just enjoyed the prime rib and pork roast specials at Hiouchi Cafe. This was after enjoying a wonderful bacon cheese burger brunch and entertainment of Jeanine earlier today. The staff are warm and friendly; Joy and Beth kept dinner flowing, and Andrew cooked a fabulous dinner. Check out weekly specials!
I would give this place a half star if I could. I have been coming here for years and I have never had a over cooked omelet in my life and the hash browns were even over cooked. I will not be back.
I had the pleasure of having the BEST Blueberry pancakes ever!!
