Worth the wait for our new van, we love it! Can’t wait to do our first trip. Aaron and Troy gave us ideas and advice when we were adding and removing items pre build and the final outcome is exactly what we wanted. The after service is what lets our experience down. Warranty issues with our van are not being addressed in a timely manner and whilst they are being rectified it’s taking a lot of calls and emails from us to get these things done.
I was in need of an awning bracket for my caravan. The manager searched the workshop for about 15 mins without success. He wasn't comfortable with that result, so he started looking online to find the bracket I needed and also supplied me with the actual part number so I could not make a mistake. I haven't experienced customer service like that or even close to that level in a long time. I am very appreciative.
We loved the service from Aaron and we are happy with our new van. However, we built our van from scratch so we could add in some additional eg. Extra picnic table, extra 12v/240v in tunnel boot etc. Upon collection, there were several things missing or incorrect and when raised we were reassured these would be rectified, no problem! We were happy to collect our van and start using pending the 1st service which is when things could be rectified. A Jay and the rest of the team at hinterland did well to accommodate our needs. A Jay was learning the ropes at the time and has proved to have great customer service going the extra mile well after the sale. If your looking for a van they will find you the one. Happy to take our money but when it comes to warranty issues all you get fed is rubbih. Never buy a caravan from these liars. Been going on for 10 months. Got hold of the van manufacturer and got the parts in less than 2 weeks. Stay away, you've been warned
