I rented from Paul a year ago, and it was a great experience. I am was an exchange student from Moldova and unlike other landlords I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. He offered great prices (the best I could find) and quick maintenance. I rented a studio in 1409 rosemary and I had some issues with the smoke alarms but he sent maintenance over within the day and got it fixed. I rented from Paul about 2 years ago and I loved every minute of it. He has some of the cheapest apartments in town, and they aren’t as run down as some other landlords. Of course, with the price comes some shortfalls but nothing to write home about. I rented an apartment in Holiday Arms and never had a huge issue, once some pipes did freeze but he called maintenance and got it fixed within the week. 10/10
I rented with them, and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. My apartment was a studio that I paid 610 a month for. That includes the 30 extra for parking (which I heard has gone up in price). This studio did not come with a stove. There was a small hotel-sized fridge (not a mini fridge) and a microwave. The only sink was in the bathroom and was literally a kitchen sink put in the bathroom. Paul showed me a rental unit. Said it would be ready in a couple weeks or so. Called me Said it was ready. Went by signed the lease, payed first month rent and deposit. Then went to city office to have utilities turned on that day. Went over to apartment the place was a mess. Broken glass on floor, no painting, no storm windows, loose toilet and kitchen faucet, cooking stove filthy, refrigerator full of mold and doesn't work properly.
