My wife had a planned C-section within Hinsdale Anesthesia Associates which is an "in-network" provider through United Healthcare and several months later we found out that an "out of network" doctor stepped in to do the procedure. This was all unknown at the time of the visit nor ever described to us. Our insurance is refusing to pay and we are battling with them to get this resolved. Sorry i couldn't give 0 stars. Hinsdale Anesthesia contracts with a third party to handle billing. Between they and the third party, my treatment records didn't make it my health insurer. I had to basically do their job by requesting the treatment records and then getting them attached to a claim that was denied several times. I was made aware when they sent me a bill nine months after the date of service. Who waits nine months to send a billing or notice that insurance was denied? Apparently, this company does. They refused to file the insurance for my Autistic Daughter and then three months later sent her to a collection agency. Avoid this place, go to the Major Hospitals in the area.
