My AC unit was not running any air. It’s another hot week this summer, so I’m looking to get this repaired asap. The service technician did come out to take a look. Very friendly. But because he couldn’t see model number off the motor, his only suggestion was I buy a new system. Now I’ll admit, that was his suggestion and he said he could have his boss out the next day to look at it which I agreed to and that I should receive a call from him within an hour after he left to book appt. Just had a new Bosch heat pump installed. Dennis came right out to look at my system needs and provided a quote for a high efficiency system. His crew did the installation in less than one full day. I’m very pleased with my experience with Hinkle’s. In addition to recommending a great system, I think the quote was extremely competitive. I’d highly recommend Hinkle’s.
Did a great job fixing our HVAC in a timely manner when it stopped working. The tech was honest and explained the issue and repair in detail.
It’s not the same as it was 7 years ago. The turnover of younger repairmen with substandard work is the culprit. We called the office to let them know that their “repairman” who was newer tried to tear apart our furnace while training a newer guy. My husband smelled a rat and told them to send an old salt and there was no problem with our furnace at all. We no longer use them needless to say.
I've used this company in the past without issue. Back in mid June I had an issue where a blackout killed one of my split units. I called Hinkle to review and repair. They came to diagnose and again 3 weeks later to just throw parts at the unit which immediately failed. They said they would order more parts, and would call the manufacturer technical support while they were onsite to perform the next steps.
