Dr. Ngyen is a wonderful Dr. Patient. Caring and takes his time to make you feel that all your questions were answered. He is also very knowledgeable and sure of himself.

I visit Dr. Nguyen every year to follow up with heart attack I experienced on 11/15/2015. He is always very professional.
My Dec. 5, 2019, visit with Dr. Nguyen went fine. What happened after was bad. Dr. Nguyen adjusted my beta blocker and BP medications, and new prescriptions were sent in to OptumRx, my mail order pharmacy. On Dec. 10, OptumRx notified me that Valsartin was out of stock. I called OptumRx and was advised to call South Texas Cardio Institute. I did on Dec. 10 and stressed I needed BP medication because my readings had been high for a month or so. I see Dr. Nguyen regularly. He is a very pleasant doctor to deal with. He runs an EKG and closely reviews my meds at each visit. Dr. Nguyen also gives me clear and specific directions on what I need to do until out next visit.
