When I arrived for my 3:00 appointment, I was told that Dr Nguyen had left for an emergency and that I could wait,possibly 2 hours, or re-schedule. Since I live out of town and had already made the trip, I chose to wait. But I only had to wait for about 15 minutes. The doctor was not distracted at all and spent a good amount of time with me, taking my questions and new concerns seriously and giving good advice. This is not unusual for him and I am grateful that Dr. Pena referred me to him.

Confidence and careing, Dr Nguyen and staff listen and respond they create a pleasant and well directed atmosphere. I would recommend them as a good health care choice.
Recently I asked my husband to have his primary care physician refer him to Dr. Nguyen because of a bad experience with another cardiologists. I explained to my husband that one of the things I appreciate about Dr. Nguyen is that he explains test results such as the pictures taken after your stress test. The appointment times are usually not running behind and he is never rushed when he is talking with you. I feel that Dr. Nguyen is very knowledgeable and will you work toward your health goals.
Dr Nguyen an his staff have always provided me with excellent patient care. The Dr and his staff are courteous, very knowledgeable and respectful. Dr Nguyen takes time to listen to me about my medical problems. His staff is very attentive and helpful.

My family doctor recently referred me to Dr. Nguyen as I did not have a cardiologist in San Antonio. I was contacted by their office and they were able to get me in within a 2 week period which is unheard of these days. His support staff were wonderful as they took my vitals and inquired about my medical history. When I saw Dr. Nguyen, he was very professional and had a great bed side manner. I didn't feel rushed and I felt comfortable asking questions in regards to my heart condition.
