His staff was extremely unhelpful! I was told that the referral was sent back to my doctor because they were booking surgeries out 3 months, and that Dr. Hines didn't want to see me again because I failed to show for a follow up appointment. I honestly do not remember anything like that ever happening. If I had canceled an appointment and didn't reschedule it would have been because I was taking care of my late husband, and his needs came first. If that was even the case why wasn't I contacted to reschedule?
Diagnosed my retinal detachment and performed surgery in under two weeks. Attentive. Answered all my questions.
Dr. Hines was nice and patient but I was feeling rushed into treatment that I didn’t know enough about and most importantly, the office manager told me the Dr would not want to continue seeing me if I didn’t show up for a procedure. Okay. I found another doctor the same day. This Dr needs a new office manager, not a pit bull. I wonder how many clients Dr. Hines has lost because of bad management? Fantastic physician. Informed me of all info I needed & results were terrific. Extremely satisfied with this physician & highly recommend him. Very thorough.
Excellent Physician
Very inconsiderate, Office manager & Dr Hines seem not to care about poor management of appointments. Staff rude, lying to us and about who is responsible when "someone" in the office changed our appointment to a later time in the day.
I would not recommend Dr. Hines and the Retina Center because, after accepting my insurance information. they failed to inform me that they were an out-of-network provider.
