Now I’ve been inside the Medical Mall plenty times but yesterday was my first day being inside the Hinds County Health Department (WIC Office). When I first walked inside the gentleman at the front desk ask where I was going and I told him and he told me which way to go. I arrived early because my appointment was scheduled for 8am. My overall experience was pretty good. I was seen for an outpatient procedure and from check in to discharge my experience was swell. I was then placed into the care of Mrs. Mary Brooke. She's was well knowledgeable of her work. She made me feel so comfortable and eased my nerves before, during, as well as after, my procedure. Dr. Ellison was a gem. He was in and out... Made the process very smooth. Overall visit went pretty good.

Zero stars. Your appointment time is an illusion meant to help you cope with the first hour of waiting. Give in to despair before you get there. It’s much less painful that way. Life is better when you manage expectation. Plan to be there for 3 hours.
