My first omakase experience, and honestly, it was unforgettable. Sitting at the bar and being served course after course felt like a symphony of flavors in my mouth. Delicious 😋 one of the better spots in sf
I’ve lived in SF for almost 50 years and had never heard of this place. Always searching for my for better sushi option, Hinata filled the bill. Delicious prix fixe, Japanese omakase chef’s choice - very fresh, delicious items, with a contemporary spin on some traditional dishes. Great place and am definitely going back for more ❤️

Hinata has the highest quality sushi I've ever had the privilege of tasting. Honestly, Hinata has ruined other sushi places for me because none other can compare. Highly recommend trying the omakase, especially at the bar instead of a table- it was fantastic getting to speak directly with Chef Gavin. Also highly recommend making a reservation for special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries. Hinata is a wonderful venue for sushi lovers' dates.
