Exccellent lunch. High quality, well seasoned dishes with fresh ingredients--probably the best saag that I've had in the United States. Excellent service. Calm, relaxed environment. Well positioned and located in the downtown area. Servers were quickly able to answer our questions about the menu. Tables positioned to easily accommodate wheelchairs and those using mobility devices.
We visited Himalayan Kitchen to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday, and unfortunately it wasn't the experience we had hoped for. The samosas were delicious, and the chai was rich and flavorful. However, the rest of the meal lacked flavor. The chicken korma was much sweeter than expected, the yak stew was bland, and the raita tasted sweet instead of savory. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly, but the food didn't meet our expectations. Sadly, it was not a good first experience.
The lunch combo was really good
I'm not one to give a poor review but food was super bland and our server ignored us. The tikka masala tasted watered down, chutney tasted like water. Not sure how possible.
This place is awesome, I always get the mustang coffee when I come here!
