The homes they build, or used to build are the worst homes on the market, shoddy workmanship, poor materials and lots of short cuts, do your homework before buying one of these pieces of junk.

Do not rent from these people, property manager is rude and unprofessional. I had several problems with them while I lived there. My heat went out in the middle of Jan. while it was snowing. I requested maintenance and never hear back, I called and left message and after two days I finally got a call from the property manager. She waited until the next day to contact the heating company who told me that they would be unable to come out until Monday, unless the property manager would approve extra pay for an emergency call. I... read more

DONT RENT AT CHEALSEA VILLAGE APT / HIMALAYA HOMES – Don't rent from himalaya homes. I was a renter at chealse village in Arlington wa and the experience was by far the worst I have ever had with renting. The quality of the homes were poor and the appliances in them as well. If you have a problem dont expect them to respond quickly. Most everyone who moves in moves out on or before there one year commitment. Also parking is a joke. They will asign you one thats really far away from your townhome and if you have quests they w... read more

Look elsewhere – Maybe you get what you pay for when purchasing a house but the cheaper price is not worth it when it comes to Himalaya Homes. Clearly they cut corner when putting these houses together. They use the cheapest products in everything from the door to the light fixtures. They also must hire the least qualified labor to put these home together. My house is only 5 years old and has had numerous problems already starting almost as soon as I moved in. The most recent issue is that the ceiling fans in the bathroom le... read more

Himalaya Homes I own a Himalaya home and at the time the price was right. If i had to buy another home it wouldn't be a Himalaya one. Just the design, its really not condusive to for example: The cable outlet is next to the firplace and the TV can't fit around there, the the electrical outlets are not enough in the bedrooms, there are no windows in the living room for the front of the house, not enough lighting. We have to make the best of what we have.
