My first choice of a hotel when staying in Gallup having tried two other chain hotels in the area. I’ve stayed here 4 times and have been pleased with each stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is right off I40 and near several restaurants. HOWEVER: I would noted that my last two visits have had issues with the room that required us to be moved. I was having a vehicle emergency on my trip. I checked in at 2 in the morning. Daniel was great and was willing to help with anything to help us get a good night's rest and get back on the road. Thanks
We are gold members and didn't receive the welcome bag. This was the first time at a Garden Inn and didn't feel welcome. When we checked out, I informed the front desk about not receiving the welcome bag and we were only offered extra points. They don't offer free breakfast and the price is like Embassy Suites. The room didn't have a seating area like the Embassy. It also didn't have a faucet for drinks. The sheets had a slight stain and not big enough. We could hear the train.
Overall I had a great stay at this hotel. The atmosphere was lovely, the room was nice, and the cooked to order breakfast was a huge perk! The mattress was decent and the room was clean. My only complaints are that I had to wait 5 minutes for someone to show up at the check-in counter, the bathroom and dining area could've been cleaner, and the shower water pressure was way too high. Other than that, this was one of the best hotels I've stayed at!
