I must say this trip has been an interesting one to say the least. I ended up having to switch my rooms for various reasons multiple times. So that was not fun at all. Currently the hotel is doing renovations I am understanding of that but it’s mainly the small things that got me the most Like even the last room that I ended up moving into ended up having an issue with the shower drain not draining and this was one of the rooms that were recently renovated so just that fact did make it a little disappointing. When I arrived I was told that they were booked. I told the man at the front desk that I had a reservation. He called his manager and they offered me an extra room and said they will only charge me for 1 night which was $213 plus the $200 deposit. I did not want to at first since I was traveling with minors, but we did not have any choice, it was late to find another hotel. Was a great stay until breakfast time came, omelette guy said everyone was waking up so late, he seemed like he wasn’t very happy to help. And made me feel guilty for enjoying my sleep on my vacation? Wish there was some sort of coffee bar as coffee is only available till 9:30 downstairs. All there is is the coffee makers in rooms… how often are these cleaned ?
Lobby area and staff is great not to mention one heck of a breakfast but the rooms could be better. The WiFi was horrible. Signal wasn’t great and kept disconnecting every few minutes. Couldn’t get any work done on my laptop. Thermostat wouldn’t go lower than 68 and it sure didn’t feel like 68 felt hotter.
