So we are the daytrip kind of people not the stay at the resort kind of people. We enjoy getting out of the room 2-3 times a day to go on a mini adventure. The easy access to your vehicle is huge for us. Seems like some rooms are a bit nicer or more updated, but all the rooms appear clean and well appointed. We might hit the pool or the hot tub but thats not the reason we come to Kauai. Proximity to Koloa and Lihue are also huge benefits as our idea of nightlife is going to Costco then Target before hitting up another plate ... read more
Don’t stay here even if you’re a member you get absolutely zero benefits. Late check out? No! Extra towel for the room? No! Beach view? No! Clean bathtub for my child? Also no! And it leaked all night every night. Called up the front and nothing happened. The parking lot is all in the back and you have to huff it to any and all rooms, and it would be worth it if our view wasn’t the other rooms of the hotel and the hot tub. Don’t go to the meetings don’t be a member once they get you they stop helping or caring.
No one answers the phones. We trying calling multiple times through out multiple days could never reach a person. Dryer vent broke in room, couldn't dry clothes or tell anyone without physically going to the front desk. Jacuzzi closes at 10 but we were not made aware of this. My party was in the jacuzzi and at 10:07 a Very rude and condescending lady came over to kick us out. Amenities are cheap. Sheets on bed were a weird material and not comfortable, very rough on skin. Unfortunately for three days we had 🪳 cockroaches in our kitchen and both bathrooms!!!! We have been in kauai before and several years in the islands this is the first time experiencing cockroaches Yuck 🤮
