Rooms are okay, old but clean. God forbid you dance with your 4 year old to the live music... apparently its illegal to dance near their live musician.... very blah. Still here for a week and dreading it....
We didnt stay here but my mother in law did and we hung out at the hotel due to a Kona storm 2 days in a row. There pool looked amazing and we walked down to the beach during a brief lapse in rain. The rooms are very spacious and it was nice it had a kitchen area. We went over there for breakfast one morning that my MIL made using the skillet and toaster provided in the room. The hotel definitely sticks out with it's pink color. The building is older, there was lots of construction going on. At first, I wasn't too impressed. But the longer we stayed, the more it grew on me. First of all - when we stayed there was torrential downpours and horrible winds - category just below a tropical storm. The kind of storm that you see once in twenty years. So we couldn't partake in the pool - it was closed the WHOLE time we were there, or the beach that much.
