We booked the Hilton Sydney because it is a classy hotel in the heart of the Sydney CBD. We went to a show and had dinner at Glass (which was nice but a little bit pricey). Check-in was a bit slow given we had already Checked In online. The people beside us came afterwards and left well before us. We got to our room 3016 which was nicely appointed and seems to have been recently renovated. The mini bar was empty and is apparently an on-demand service, which I haven't experienced before, and there was filtered water available... read more
The room was very spacious! My only down fall, was I had to request extra bath towels. For Hilton Hotel, you would assume the bath towels for a couple they would provide 2, instead the room only came with 1 bath towel. On my third request the morning after checkin, request for extra towels, I fell asleep waiting. Intial request for towels, was a Friday evening, the evening of check-in Friday 16th of Oct, secondly a ph call that night, and the next morning, being a saturday, the damn towels were finally delivered.
