This place is a dumpster. Rooms are old. Tub backed up when showering. AC does not get cold and the room was hot. Front desk did not give Amex upgrade or add the dining credit so I had to call back twice to get a refund. The cashier could not figure out how to ring up a bottle at the market so I left with out what I wanted.
Great place to stay. Convenient to everything downtown. Great staff. Clean rooms. Pet friendly.
All was fine as usual at a full Hilton.
The Hilton Portland Downtown makes a very strong first impression. The lobby and overall ambiance feel upscale, and the location is excellent—close to shops, restaurants, and within an easy walk of the waterfront. The hotel also has a nice gym, coffee bar, and full-service restaurant, which are all great amenities. Unfortunately, our experience with the service and housekeeping did not match the quality of the property itself.
