Our favorite place to stay for DragonCon when I attend as a professional guest. It's just day enough away to be outside the crowds so there's some peace. Service had always been great, rooms could use a bit of an upgrade. Close to the aquarium so if you are presenting, it's easy access.
The location is great. Checking in and put was easy and relatively quick. The room was adequate but had some problems: mattress was lumpy, pillows were way too soft, refrigerator didn't cool well, and the balcony door was almost impossible to open. First night we encountered no problems. However, the second night was awful!! We couldn't enjoy our meal due to a large "party or group" at the bar area that was extremely loud (clapping, throwing stuff, yelling the whole time).
