⭐ Extremely Disappointing Experience at Hilton in St. Charles, Louisiana I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I experienced at this Hilton location in St. Charles, Louisiana. The way I was treated was completely unacceptable and far below the level of professionalism and hospitality I expected. The front desk staff were extremely rude, repeatedly cutting me off while I was simply trying to ask questions and get clear answers. Nice hotel overall. Room was nice. Staff is great. Only thing keeping them from 5 stars is that the Towels are Hard. No fabric softener used. I've had softer towels at Motel 6.
Room is big for person, nice area for walking around besides french quarter w/c its just in the corner of the hotel
Hotel is under heavy construction, so you're greeted with a mess of a lobby and a service elevator full of workers, their carts, and dirty room service trays as you make your way up to the second floor "reception". Room is fine. We never received service in our room, despite being gone all day. Housekeeping carts and stacks of dirty linens and towels were left in the hallways for over 24 hrs. At 5:30 pm they slipped a note under everyone's door that water would be off from 11:00 pm to 6:00 am. By 8:30 am the water was still off. Despite ruining my plans for two days all they offered was a small discount. EDIT: I was too generous in my first review. The issues that this hotel were even worse. There was laundry left in the hallways, food service trays left in the elevators, and ongoing construction that was not disclosed at the time of the reservation.
